Sulphuric Acid Anodising - The Process

At Malden, we specialise in Sulphuric Acid Anodising. This process utilises a specified electric current through a sulphuric acid electrolyte. The clear silver coloured coating created, with a thickness of between 5 and 20 microns, has enhanced abrasion and corrosion resistance yet can be dyed or pre treated to create decorative, textured finishes. These can be either highly polished, satin look or matt.
